About this file
This document appears to be Amendment 1 to the Questions and Answers for RFQ FA302024Q0117 for the procurement of 15 each of the following items: Agilite K-Zero Plate Carrier Multicam Medium, BattleSteel Level 4 10x12 Armor Plates Shooters Cut Multi-Curve Full Ceramic Face, Norotos RHNO II Bayonet/Horn NVG Mount BLACK, and FAST SF High Cut Helmet System to be delivered to Sheppard AFB, Texas.
The amendment addresses questions regarding delivery timelines, warranty requirements, documentation, and color/pattern preferences. It clarifies that the items are for a training environment only and do not require specific certifications beyond being the same as combat-ready versions. Delivery is requested within 90 days. Standard industry warranty is acceptable, and color/pattern has no preference. This is a Brand Name or Equal Request for Quotes (RFQ) issued by the 82d Contracting Squadron of the Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command, and it is a total small business set-aside with an NAICS code of 315990.

Amendment 1: Questions and Answers
RFQ FA302024Q0117
Q #1: Should the delivery be consolidated into a single shipment for all items, or would multiple shipments (e.g., helmets separately and other items separately) be acceptable?
A #1: Receiving the items in one shipment is preferred, but separate shipments will not be an issue.
Q #2: Are there specific delivery timelines we should be aware of for each item?
A #2: Delivery is requested within 90 days.
Q #3: Is there a requirement for warranty or support services for the items being supplied?
If so, what are the specifics?
A #3: There are no specifics with the warranty, standard industry warrant will suffice. These items will be used in a training environment.
Q #4: What documentation will be required for the delivery of these items? Are there any specific compliance or certification documents needed?
A #4: Being that these items are only intended for a training environment, the certifications are only that they need to be the same fit, feel and weight as they would be as if they were used in a combat environment. These assets will not be deployable.
Q #5: Will scorpion W2 work for the color instead of multicam? Or, what pattern colors are not allowed?
A #5: Pattern is irrelevant and there is no preference.
