Ques ons and Answers
1. The TA-M6 blas ng cap was designed for field-training use and does not include interior components inside the blas ng cap to reflect the construc on of a real blas ng cap. The TSK2900 is designed to be used in a training environment and is constructed with internal components that reflect the explosive layers inside a real blas ng cap. The TSK2900 is completely inert and X-ray correct. Is the customer looking for accurate and X-ray-correct inert blas ng caps, or field-use blas ng caps without the internal components? (Image a ached to illustrate) Answer: Customer is looking for field-use inert blas ng cap. The use of the inert M6 cap is train on correct procedural setups for blas ng cap usage.
2. The TA-M6 blas ng caps have roughly 12 feet of wire per blas ng cap; the TSK2900 has 6 feet of 24 AWG wire. Is there a requirement for wire size, type, or length? Answer: An actual M6 cap has 12 feet of wire. Customer preference is to obtain an inert M6 cap with 12 feet of wire for procedural setup compliance.
3. The TA-M6 blas ng caps have a hole drilled through the end of the blas ng cap. The TSK2900 is more realis c and does not have a hole. Does the customer require a hole drilled through each cap? Answer: No preference on a hole, however a hole easily iden fies an inert training cap.
4. Are there any packaging requirements for either blas ng cap? Answer: No packaging requirement. The only requirement is the inert M6 cap must be wound as in the illustra on below.
