We are not aware of any spare capacity available in Panel BA. The revised scope of work states, “Contractor shall add a dedicated 120-volt circuit at the chiller for the electric heat strips and a dedicated outdoor electric 120-volt receptacle outlet.” Please verify what panel and circuit is to be utilized for these additional electrical items. Since the new chillers come with a dedicated electric heater strip to protect the chiller in case there is a freeze, a dedicated 120 volt power source and power receptacle outlet is required per code. There is another electrical panel in the mechanical room or in the building with a power source available for the 120 volt installations however 120 ft of conduit may be required.
