Presolicitation Notice: Maintain Airfield Runway FA301619BA005

Date: 16 July 2019

This notice is posted in accordance with FAR 5.2 and 36.213-2.

This RESTRICTED ACQUISITION is set aside – Women Owned Small Business, prior to the closing date of the solicitation.

The NAICS code is 237310 and the Size Standard is $36.5M.

In accordance with FAR 4.1102 and DFARS 252.204-7007, Alternate A, Annual Representations and

Certifications, contractor must be registered in SAM prior to award. Offerors may obtain information on registration at https://www.sam.gov.

SOLICITATION NUMBER: FA301619BA005

Maintain Airfield Runway; Project Number KELL190029 The work includes the Airfield Maintenance for the Runway, Taxiway, Overruns and Instrument Landing System facilities at Kelly Airfield Joint Base

San Antonio (JBSA), Texas. The work required is separated into four different work areas: 1) Repair

Benchmark Medallions/Survey Markers; 2) Recertify Compass Rose 3) Surface clean and paint Facilities and other obstructions on the airfield property; 4) Surface clean and paint Security Warning signs on apron areas of the TA ramp.

The 502D Contracting Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio, Texas intends to award a contract with a 60 calendar day period of performance after issuance of a notice to proceed.

The estimated magnitude of the entire contract IAW FAR 36.204 (d) is between $250,000 and $500,000.

NOTES:

1. The solicitation with the official specifications will be available on or about 1 August 2019, at http://www.fbo.gov; the tentative date for receipt of bids is 1 September 2019. The anticipated period of performance is 60 calendar days after issuance of notice to proceed.

2. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be provided. You may, however, download and print the file from the website www.fbo.gov.

3. Contractors shall be capable of securing bonding for the total proposed amount.

4. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors.

5. The current status is Pre-Solicitation and its PSC code is: Z2BD – Repair or Alteration of Airport runways and taxiways
