STATEMENT OF WORK FOR

144 BED SPACE PERMENENT PARTY DORM DRAPERY INSTALL

PR #F2M3CH6029AW06

1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. The Contractor shall provide services as required by this Statement of Work (SOW) to include: delivery, assembly and installation of window treatments into a 144 bed space dormitory complex currently under construction on JBSA Lackland. The objective of this project is to provide black out style drapes for a 144 bed space dorm for permanent party Airman. The dormitory building is a new build with no occupants and requires no demolition or removal of existing furniture. All materials and accessories shall be installed in accordance with industry standards, manufacturer's recommendations.

2. LOCATION: Building number for the 144 dormitory is 1409 located on JBSA Lackland in San Antonio, TX.

3. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project requires the delivery and installation into building 1409:

The following items listed shall be delivered, assembled and installed in each of the 144 bedrooms:

Traversing rod 1 per room Drapes(black-out, darker blue tone) 1 per room

4. SITE DESCRIPTION: This project requires delivery, assembly and installation and testing of all window treatments in a 3 story dormitory complex with outside access to the rooms and stairs on both ends and in the middle of the building. No elevators exist in the building. See Attachment A for window picture and size.

5. STORAGE AND PARKING:

No contractor storage is required for this project. Parking shall be in the vicinity of the job site.

6. PROJECT SCHEDULE: Contractor shall ensure all window treatments are delivered, assembled and installed no later than 1 August 2016. If there is a longer lead time required, this must be made know at the time of this contract's negotiation.

7. HOURS OF OPERATION: The delivery and installation shall be performed during normal duty hours (7:30 A M. to 4:15 P. M., Monday thru Friday).

8. WORKMANSHIP: The Contractor shall perform all operations in a manner that will result in a professional and expeditiously completed project. The work shall be in strict accordance with the prevailing industry standards.

9. ACCESSORIES AND INCIDENTALS: Contractor shall provide all incidentals necessary.

Cost for these items shall be included as part and parcel of the finished installation.

10. DEMOLITION: None is required.

11. INSTALLATION: The installation date shall be coordinated between the Contracting Officer, the end-user and the 502 CES/CEIHD.

12. SUBMITTALS: Provide product data on specified products

13. QUALITY ASSURANCE: The government shall inspect all work performed by the contractor. Work performance shall be deemed satisfactory and acceptable to the government when the 502 CES/CEIHD declares the project satisfactory.

14. CLEANUP: The Contractor shall collect all trash, debris, refuse, garbage, etc., which he generates and remove it from the site.

15. PROTECTION: The contractor shall take precautions to prevent damage to government property.

The contractor shall repair or replace damaged items at no additional cost to the government.

16. COMPLETION OF WORK: The contractor shall ensure that work for this project is performed in accordance with the criteria herein, and that all relevant materials, finishes, equipment, and systems shall be fully operational at the completion of work for this project.

17. ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: The contractor shall perform all work in accordance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
