STATEMENT OF WORK

81 CS LMR antenna PMI requirements SOW

The contractor shall complete the following for the antenna at Bldg. 4241:

• Properly inspect all coaxial cables to tower

• Inspect the RF coaxial surge protection grounding (PFAS) system and provide in writing any fix actions or discrepancies that are identified

• Inspect grounding kits on all cables and 2-hole lugs

• Inspect messenger cable support system

• Verify all cables are labeled with brass tags and/or vinyl labels on both ends

• Inspect ground bus bar, re-bond all ground lead connections with antioxidant, and inspect polyphasers for each cable

• All work is to be performed on the exterior of the building and tower with the exception of tracing/labeling lines inside the building if needed

• Tower work will require certified climbing technician.

The contractor shall complete the following for the antenna at Bldg. 4330:

• Inspect cables along rooftop and building wall

• Verify all cables are labeled with brass tags and/or vinyl labels on both ends

• Inspect grounding on all applicable cables

• Inspect ground bus bars at both entry ports and existing roof ground system

• Inspect RF warning signs ensure they are legible and properly affixed to building

• All work is to be performed on the exterior of the building with the exception of tracing/labeling lines inside the building

• All work can be performed on the roof from ladders and will not require a man-lift

• Verify all cables are labeled with brass tags and/or vinyl labels on both ends

• All work is to be performed on the exterior of the building and tower with the exception of tracing/labeling lines inside the building if needed

• Tower work will require certified climbing technician.
