About this file
This document contains Questions and Answers related to a federal contract opportunity for the procurement of Mobile Bleachers.
The Mobile Bleachers are required to be purchased, not rented. They do not need to be ADA accessible. The Government is seeking bleachers that are approximately 45 feet long by 10 rows, which would provide 250 seats. However, the Government is open to alternative sizes, such as 30 feet long by 10 rows, which would provide 165 seats, as long as the size closely matches the existing bleachers onsite to maintain uniformity. The Government states that a set of bleachers 15 feet shorter with 85 fewer net seats (140 fewer gross seats) is not an acceptable alternative.
The related federal contract opportunity is Solicitation Number FA301024QSC01, issued by the Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command, for the procurement of Mobile Bleachers in accordance with the attached salient characteristics dated May 8, 2024.

Quesons and Answers for Mobile Bleachers
1. Is this for rental or purchase?
Purchase.
2. Do the bleachers need to be ADA accessible?
No.
3. Mathemacs does not equal out if bleachers are 45’ long x 10 rows it only comes to 22.5 people per row to bring it to 225 people for 10 rows. If the seats are shorted to 18” it would sll only allow 250 people. Are you open to alternave sizes? Specifically, one that is 30’ long x 10 rows that only holds 165 people.
These sizes are based off bleachers currently on site, and therefore need to match as closely as possible to retain uniformity. If this means the bleachers hold only between 250 – 275 “NET” instead of the 300 “gross” seats, then that is acceptable deviaon. A set of bleachers that is 15’ shorter and with 85 fewer NET (and 140 gross) seats is not an acceptable alternave.
