1. (1.13) As needed, the Contractor provides the installation and continues service support for any air compressors, and deionized water systems. Is a new water system required or is one needed just for the transition period (validation of new instrument)?

Answer: It would depend on the vendor’s requirement, does the equipment being quoted need compressors, and deionized water systems.

2. Regarding the test menu, “URINE DRUGS OF ABUSE”- Please share which tests are reporting quantitative/qualitative? Can you please provide the cutoffs being used?

Answer: The result for any analyte in this panel can be reported qualitatively as negative or positive relative to the cut-off for that test. A positive result suggests the sample has enough of the analyte present to exceed the threshold. A negative result indicates the sample does not contain any of the given analyte or that the analyte is present, but the concentration is below the test cut-off.
