Salient Characteristics of the Multipurpose X-Ray System

1) The system must employ a full range of standard dose management features

2) The system must utilize a Tantalum Filter which eliminates low-energy X-rays and decreases the high-energy X-rays that create scatter.

3) The system must prevent deterioration of image contrast, further enhancing image quality

4) The system must have three-dose-mode controls let users select different dose amounts with one touch based on patient parameters

5) The system must have a variable source-to-image distance (SID) tracking

6) The system must have a Super Noise Reduction Filter (SNRF)

7) The system must have a virtual collimation to electronically view and change the position of the collimator blades without the use of fluoroscopy

8) The system must have a dose meter that isincluded as standard

9) The system must select the most suitable mode of pulse fluoroscopy to minimize patient and staff exposure

10) The system must possess a vast selection of settings for digital pulse fluoroscopy

11) The system X-ray beam-limiting device must be Motor-driven with changeable compensation filters

12) The system X-ray beam-limiting device must possess Software-controlled, variable-beam handling filters

13) The system X-ray beam-limiting device must possess User-selectable beam filtration with tantalum filters

14) The Remote and Local Control Consoles must provide identical, integrated control of positioner and X-ray generator.

15) The Remote and Local Control Consoles must must be able to set the desired C-arm position with one touch

16) The Remote and Local Control Consoles must must be able to Register and reproduce C-arm angles with auto-memory

17) The Remote and Local Control Consoles must must be able to permanently store clinically preferred sequences with autopositioning

18) The Remote and Local Control Consoles must be able to control the field size of the FPD

19) The Remote and Local Control Consoles must set the collimation and both tantalum and aluminum compensation filters

20) The Remote and Local Control Consoles must Perform image processing and playback

21) The Remote and Local Control Consoles must Select fluoroscopy mode

22) The Remote and Local Control Consoles must Switch the FPD from AP to the PA position and back with one touch

23) The Remote and Local Control Consoles must Display Tilt Angle, LAO/RAO angle, CRA/CAU angle, SID, and C-arm vertical position

24) The system software must contain a Digital Imaging System that increases access to fluoroscopic and radiographic images and speeds critical information.

25) The system software must be truly multi-tasking with simultaneous acquisition and review to enable the efficient management of fluoroscopy, fluorography, post processing, filming and network filing.

26) The system must perform single or serial digital spot imaging with acquisition rates up to 15

27) The FPS must be at 1024x1024 x 16-bit, run on a Windows 7 platform, possess at least a 21” color LCD monitor for control/review station,

28) the system must possess a least a 70,000 image storage capacity and DVD archive option available
