About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Department of the Air Force, Air Education and Training Command (AETC) Air Force Security Assistance Training Squadron (AFSAT) to determine industry capabilities for providing non-personal training services in support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) MQ-9 Training. The RFI seeks information on the contractor's ability to provide a range of MQ-9 training services, including management, courseware development and delivery with government purpose rights, remote pilot aircrew training, maintenance training, and support for standing up initial organizational level maintenance capability. The training is anticipated to support the U.S. Government, U.S. Government Allies, and other Partner Nations. Responses to this RFI are due by March 6, 2024, and should provide details on the company's experience, expertise, and proposed approach to delivering the required training services. The government reserves the right to determine the acquisition strategy, including whether a small business set-aside would be appropriate based on the RFI responses.

ANSWER: This is a new AFSAT training requirement, and market research assists with acquision planning for that new requirement.
2. Does the Government ancipate the contractor to enter into an Associate Contractor Agreement (ACA) with General Atomics and/or Technical Assistance Agreement (TAA) with the Partner Naon/s.
ANSWER: The Government is seeking informaon from vendors regarding industry capabilies; no strategy has been approved at this me.

It is understood the Government may not have a full understanding of future training requirements that could fall under this contract, but for predecisional planning purposes for facilies and infrastructure requirements, can the Government provide any indicaon - even if based on historicals - the number of student throughput on an annual basis?
ANSWER: At this me, the government cannot provide the number of student throughput.
5. Addionally, can the Government indicate the number of aircra on-site over the course of a year? This would help determine the number/amount of hangars and ramp space needed.

If so, are they required to be separated at all mes?

ANSWER:(CONUS) Yes
8. If an exisng contract has been established to provide these services, can the Government please disclose the contract number?
ANSWER: This is a new training requirement.
9. Upon compleon of the RFI, will the Government release its findings to the individual respondees to determine if they have been deemed "qualified" based on informaon providied in the RFI response?
ANSWER: The Government is seeking informaon from vendors regarding industry capabilies; An RFI does not determine if respondents are qualified or unqualified.
