About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Department of the Air Force for a Boresite Tower Charrette project at New Boston Space Force Station in New Boston, NH. The RFI seeks information from contractors regarding the demolition and relocation of an existing ROHN Industries Model 65 tower installed in 1971, along with Land Mobile Radio (LMR) transmitters/repeaters and supporting equipment. The project falls under NAICS Code 237130 for Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction, with small business set-aside status to be determined based on responses received.
The scope includes identifying communications coverage requirements for NBSFS and Bedford/Amherst fire and emergency services, determining if solutions can support future 5G coverage, developing demolition and relocation plans for a new monopole tower, handling potential lead-based paint disposal, analyzing communication infrastructure needs, and evaluating backup power requirements. Deliverables must include coverage maps, concept designs, site development drawings, and environmental consultation. The government anticipates using a Firm-Fixed-Price contract structure. Interested parties must submit a Letter of Interest (maximum 3 pages in PDF or Word format) detailing their approach, relevant experience, existing government contracts, and contact information. Responses are due no later than August 15, 2025, and must be submitted electronically to clarissa.baker@us.af.mil and kristin.morrison.1@us.af.mil with the subject line "RFI-FA2835-TOWER [Company Name, yyyymmdd]".
