TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS DOCUMENT

Rotary Air Compressor

25 June 2019

1. SCOPE:

The project is located at Eglin AFB, Florida, 33rd Fighter Wing, Building 1318 (Aerospace

Ground Equipment, Pratt & Whitney, Tindel Engines, NDI, and Mod Team work center). The

Ingersoll Rand and FSCurtis Air Compressors that are currently installed in Building 1318 require removal/transport/disposal. The contractor is responsible for all labor and equipment associated with removing and transporting the old Ingersoll Rand and FSCurtis Air

Compressors. The replacement will be (Qty 2) Kaeser Air-Center SM Series Rotary

Compressors Model #SM10T, or equal item. These new compressors will be installed in the same location as the existing Ingersoll Rand and FSCurtis compressors, therefore, the old compressors must be removed first. Additionally upgrade of retracting hose reels (QTY 10) and regulators (QTY 18) located in bay’s 1-5 must be performed from contractor. The contractor is responsible for all labor and equipment associated with the transport and installation of the new air compressors along with regulators/retractable hose reels. Tooling required for removal and install will not be provided by the 33rd MXS. All previously mentioned expenses must be included and itemized in the contractor’s quote.

2. REQUIREMENTS:

2.1. AIR COMPRESSOR: (QTY 2) Tank Mounted Kaeser Oil Flooded Rotary Compressed Air

System Model SM10T, or equal item capable of use up to a 115 Degree F temperature range, system shall be capable of PSIG 160, 208-230 voltage.

Compressor shall be air cooled, V-belt drive, electric driven, single stage, completely piped, wired, factory tested, tank mounted with an integral cycling refrigerated air dryer. System shall also be provided with a metal enclosure, self-contained and a totally integrated air compressor package. Kaeser KCF50 condensate filter option.

2.2. HOSE REEL & FILTER UPGRADE BAY 1-5

- (Qty 2) Vertical 120-gallon air receiver tank w/ powder coat exterior

- (Qty 10) Reelcraft 7670OLP auto retracting hose reel w/ 70’ of 3/8” hose

- (Qty 18) Arrow B754HTWG combination filter/regulators

3. DELIVERY: FOB Destination, 30 Days ARO
