About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) related to a federal contract opportunity for routine maintenance and cleaning services for the 50th Security Forces Squadron's (SFS) Indoor Firing Range at Schriever Space Force Base.

The RFI provides details on the range dimensions, including that it has 6 lanes that are 23m long, with a slanted steel backstop and 3 feet of rubber mulch. There are no poles, obstructions, or traditional bullet trap that would require cleaning. The range floor and side walls are the only areas that need to be cleaned. The RFI also confirms there are no other areas within the range that require cleaning beyond the range itself. The related federal contract opportunity, Solicitation Number FA255024Q0028, is for these firing range HAZMAT cleaning services, to be performed for the Department of the Air Force Space Command.
