Market Research/Site Visit Questions & Answers 18 September 2018

Question #1: Do all of the breakers require repair/calibration?

Answer: Not all breakers require repair/calibration, but all the breakers are due certification.

Question #2: Do the breakers have to be repaired on site?

Answer: No. The breakers will be delivered to 780 Enoch Rd, Schriever AFB, CO 80912 for the contractor to pickup.

Question #3: Do the contractors have to hold a NATE certification?

Answer: Yes, the contractors need to be NATE certified.

Question #4: Have the breakers been rebuilt before?

Answer: Yes some breakers were rebuilt, and the rest certified back in 2017 by a CEMIRT team.

Question #5: What is the delivery date?

Answer: The period of performance for this requirement is 27 September 2018 – 27 November 2018.

Question #6: Does the government want the breakers to just be cleaned and tested, or do they want an overhaul?

Answer: The government wants the breakers to be cleaned, tested, overhauled, provided with a new inspection sticker, and delivered with the breakers wrapped up/sealed.

Question #7: 1.3 SCOPE OF PROCEDURE – This sections does not include any discussions of repairs. Is this RFQ for the testing only and a price will then be submitted to the Government for the repairs to be made? Will this repair price be put out for bid as well?

Answer: Please refer to the answer for question number 6. Please provide pricing for what the requirements in the PWS.

Question #8: 1.21 SERVICES SUMMARY – In the table provided there is a requirement for Emergency Maintenance. Since this isn’t an annual maintenance contract, how long would this Emergency Maintenance period last?

Answer: Emergency maintenance and technical support have been deleted from the PWS.
