About this file
This is a Statement of Objectives (SOO) for the procurement of a commercial-grade, automated bowling lane maintenance machine for the 45th Force Support Squadron (45 FSS) Shark Lanes at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida. The acquisition requires delivery of one complete, fully operational system that combines lane stripping (cleaning) and lane conditioning (oiling) into a single automated pass. The machine must operate on standard 115V, 50/60 Hz power, feature an integrated modern digital interface such as a touchscreen display for operator control, and include a highly precise fluid control system to support custom lane patterns with varying surface textures and oil viscosities. The equipment must be designed for single-operator maneuverability, constructed from durable materials resistant to maintenance chemicals, and capable of standard bowling center storage footprints. Delivery is F.O.B. Destination to 45th FSS Shark Lanes, 832 O'Malley Road, Building 732, Patrick Space Force Base, FL 32925, with all shipping and freight charges included in the final purchase price and delivery required no later than November 15, 2026.
The contractor must provide necessary start-up accessories, programming software and interface tools, and comprehensive operator and maintenance manuals. A standard commercial warranty covering parts and manufacturer defects for a minimum of one year from acceptance is required, along with technical support resources accessible by telephone, online, or digital means to assist base personnel with troubleshooting, calibration, and routine programming. Final acceptance will occur upon verification that the machine powers on, passes standard diagnostic checks, and successfully completes a test cycle on an active bowling lane following inspection for transit damage and manufacturing defects.
