Description: PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: This is NOT a request for proposal or invitation for bid. The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick SFB, FL announces the anticipated release of Solicitation number FA252125B0001 being issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). All applicable provisions and clauses will be included in the actual solicitation document. This electronic announcement constitutes the only pre-solicitation notice being issued.
This IFB is being set aside to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns; all others will be deemed nonresponsive. Contract award will be based on FAR PART 14- Sealed Bidding. An award will be made to the responsible bidder (IAW FAR 9.1041) whose bid, conforming to the invitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price-related factors included in the invitation.
Interested parties should register on-line and subscribe to receiving procurement announcements related to this solicitation via the website at www.sam.gov. There will be no paper copies of this solicitation. All solicitation information may be obtained through the above referenced website. Description of project: The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and equipment to remove the four (4) fan coil units from the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors. Contractors shall remove the make-up-air unit and the air handler unit in the 6th floor mechanical room. Remove the rusted ductwork from the make-up air unit and air handling unit. Also included is the removal and replacement of the piping. Remove controls from the make-up air unit and air handler unit. Contractor shall also install a new make-up-air unit and air handler unit and associated dampers, ductwork and piping to include insulation. Install the same controls on the new make-up air unit and air handler unit and recalibrate as needed. Work also includes installing upsized fan coil units on the 3rd and 4th floors serving the switch room and data room respectively and installing new fan coil units on the 2nd and 5th floor. All work http://www.sam.gov/ shall comply with State of Florida Building Codes and Wing Facility Excellence guidelines.
The contractor is to provide the government with a complete and usable facility in accordance with the Project Drawings and Specifications on Patrick SFB (PSFB), FL.
Period of Performance: 90 calendar days, to begin 10 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). NTP to be issued within 30 days after award.

Additional Information: The applicable NAICS code is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-conditioning Contractors. The acquisition will be a competitive set-aside for SDVOSB concerns. The IFB will be available by electronic transmission only at http://www.SAM.gov.
The IFB is expected to be available on or about 20 Feb 2025 with bid due 30 days from this tentative date.
This project will have a Pre-Bid site visit.
This acquisition is being issued under FAR 19.805 Competitive Service-Disabled Veteran- Owned Small Business set-aside and solicited via Invitation for Bid.
Potential bidders must be currently registered in System for Award Management to be eligible for award. (See internet site: https://sam.gov)
Payment for this acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) System. Contractors must be registered in WAWF, see internet site: https://wawf.eb.mil for registration.
Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under a solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel a solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.”
