About this file

This document is a set of questions and answers related to a federal contract opportunity for a new paging/music audio system. The key details are:

The contract is a new requirement, with no incumbent currently performing these services. A site visit has been scheduled for June 3, 2022 at 10 A.M. The government is not providing a cost estimate or budget for the project, and does not have a confirmed start date. The system will be for both music and paging, with the vendor required to provide any necessary new wiring. The system will have a single control location, with no preference on the microphone type as long as it can override the music. The government will not provide additional site visits. The system will play the same music in all zones, without the ability to play different content simultaneously. The government may require the vendor to provide an audio equipment rack, but details on power and grounding requirements are still pending further review. No floor plans were provided with the solicitation.
