Questions & Answers Revised 24 September 2019
1. What is the dongle number of the existing Lenel OnGuard?
The dongle number(s) of our system(s) are: 132881 (SWS-32ES), 113803 (SWS-PRO).
2. Do you need to be a Lenel VAR for this project?
Yes
3. Do you need to be certified with OnGuard and what level of certification is required?
Yes you must be a certified Lenel OnGuard for installation.
4. Will the GOV provide the list of doors and their locations that the GOV plan on using existing door hardware?
Yes, See Attachment 2. All of the crash bars are to be replaced with Von Duprin Crash
Bars. These are the same ones that were installed in Bldg. 523 and 524 when Lenel was installed. Part numbers for Von Duprin Push Pad: 98 Series, Electronic Lock
5. It was mentioned at the site walk that the existing ACS will be removed and the new
ACS enclosures will be in the same location in the server room, is the plan not to have the existing ACS running in parallel until the new system is commissioned? If the plan is to having them both running where will the new enclosures be located?
Once the Lenel system begins installation the old ACS will be abandoned.
6. Are we mounting the new readers in the exact location of the old readers?
Yes
7. Please confirm this is 100% WOSB set-aside.
This is a 100% WOSB set-aside under NAICS with a size standard of $22M , as stated in solicitation 19QB102.
8. The Government’s Material list requests: (18) 150’ Tappon (Tappan)
Armored Access Control Cable. Should this be read as (18) separate 150 feet armored access control cables? Please clarify the Government’s request.
Yes, 18 separate 150 foot Tappon (Tappan) Armored Access Control Cable sections.
9. Is the manufacturer Tappan a mandatory requirement for the ACS Cable or will the Government accept an equivalent for the ACS cable?
The Tappan ACS Cable is a requirement and no other ACS will be accepted.
Same cable that was used for the installation of Lenel in Bldg. 523 and 524. Part numbers for Tappan ACS Cable: Tappan P50032.1 / 1680AB2/CMP 16/2C

10. During the site survey it was discussed that the new LENEL ACS will connect to the existing LENEL Server in Bldg. 533 Comm. SQ. Please confirm an Ethernet/fiber connection from Bldg.1319 to Bldg. 533 will be provided by the Government.
Two strand single mode fiber are available for use.
11. Are “or equal” items allowed?
No, “or equal” items will not be accepted, as this is a brand name requirement.
Please see attached Brand Name Justification.
