Questions and Answers
1. Question: “Are there any specific volume requirements or page count limits for this response?”
Answer: Typically OCP/ICP CSIR page count limit is five. (Comm Path, Cables Records, Circ Cards/Cable Pairs, X-Connects, Floor Plan, (Com-Rm, LAN Jacks, Jack Box Content, Jack Cables))
2. Question “Is the list of Certs & Reps included in the body of the description on FedBizOpps the required Certs & Reps to be included in the proposal?”
Answer: Yes, 252.209-7993 and 252.209-7994 are to be completed and included in the proposal.
3. Question: “The Description states that the offeror will "add legacy CSIR (Communications System Installation Records), Non-standard Floor Plans Comm-Drawing of Equipment, Communications Rooms & Data Centers". Then in Section 2.1.4 of the SOW it states "
* Provide gathered MOB ICP Comm-Room and Data Center equipment, racks and cable records, circuit line record card (CLRC) circuit data into ICP.
Automated cut-sheet population shall be accurately shown as they relate to building floor plan locations. Interior cable run lengths will be calculable automation from geospatial relational data sets perspective location.
Can the government specify exactly what level of data input is required to be populated in the GIMS ICP applications for each installation? Is it expected that the contractor will be required to populate all relevant ICP data for each installation, or is this effort only required to input a representative sample of all ICP Data Types (CR, CLRC, Rack Elevations, Cut Sheet Data) for each installation to validate complete functionality for all GIMS applications at each installation?”
Answer: A rough estimate to complete this portion was guesstimated as 1/3 the cost of holistic completion Phase 12. This portion includes population of representative layered GIS Mission Data Set Design of data for MOB and GSUs.
- SCXPX estimates were based on a sampling of 10% of: facility floor plans, existing CSIR documents, CLRC records, and comm room surveys as would be needed to fully test and validate the GIMS ICP build outs at each site.
- The "Contract" must stipulate that the offerer's responsibility for each site roll-out would be limited to the parameters of the sample data and its related ability to test as proof positive functioning products.
