About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for a federal contract opportunity involving material delivery to a Colorado Springs military installation.

Trucks must comply with Colorado Department of Transportation weight limits, with maximum size not exceeding standard 18-wheel semi trucks and trailers; end-dumps and belly-dumps are acceptable if compliant with CDOT restrictions. Drivers must pass background checks, carry valid driver's licenses, current vehicle registration, proof of insurance, and bills of lading or delivery receipts; non-US citizens may require additional paperwork and will receive day passes for same-day multiple deliveries. Escorts are not required. Certified scale tickets and delivery tickets are required for acceptance and invoicing. Technical submissions must include laboratory results for ASTM C127 and ASTM C535 testing performed within the last year by any laboratory. Service Contract Labor Standards do not apply to this acquisition.
