SUBJECT: SOURCES SOUGHT – USAF Academy Band Recording Engineer Service
This Sources Sought has been amended for the following reasons:
1. Add the updated Statement of Work Attachment (Attachment 1 - SOW_USAFA Band
Recording Engineer_v7).
2. All other information remains unchanged.
The Peterson Space Force Base 21st Contracting Squadron is requesting information from potential Recording Engineer Service. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 512240 - Sound Recording Studios, and the small business size standard is $11.0M.
This sources sought is issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with FAR Part 10.
Peterson Space Force Base, CO is requesting information for the Recording Engineer Services listed below in Table 1 for Market Research Purposes. The government is requesting information for from any and all providers who feel they can provide these services IAW the Attachment 1 - Statement of Work_USAFA Recording Engineer Service_v3. If an interested party is not capable of meeting all requirements in Attachment 1, the government still values your input and would value your feedback on the requirement.
The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. This announcement is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or to award a contract. At this time, PSFB is not seeking quotes and will not accept unsolicited quotes.
Submit any and all questions regarding this requirement no later than 4 October 2024 @ 12:00 P.M. Mountain Time. Questions will be submitted via electronic mail to the Contracting Officer, Table 1: Required Items Line Item

Interested and qualified sources are requested to submit the following information to this office by electronic mail by: 8 October 2024 at 12:00 P.M. Mountain Time.
(1) Based on your experience, what is the most time each phase in Attachment 1 should take?
(2) Is there a different NAICS code that would better the service requested in Table 1?
(3) Can you perform all services identified in Table 1 or provide similar services? If so, please speak to each requirement in Attachment 1 and how you can meet or come close to meeting them.
(4) Is there a better method or technology available to record a big band jazz performance?
(5) Are there any other characteristics not identified in the attachment that would better support the need?
(6) Are you registered on SAM.gov?
(7) Company name, address, point of contact telephone number, e-mail address, CAGE/UEI.
(8) Representation/Certification of small business socio economic status (if applicable).
