6. If a patient already has prescriptions located within the will call solution the solution shall indicate this to the user and direct them to place additional prescriptions in the same location, space permitting

7. The system shall have a mechanism to warn and prevent users from storing two different patients prescriptions in the same holding area

8. The system shall include the capability to store prescriptions outside the will call solution (e.g. refrigerator) and direct users to this storage area

9. The system shall be able to search for patients using a minimum of two patient identifiers and must include both patient name and date of birth

10. The system shall have a mechanism in place to warn and prevent system users from dispensing two different patient’s prescriptions at the same time

11. The system shall visually cue users to the location of prescriptions located within the will call solution

12. Visual cues must be different based on either workstations or users to minimize errors

13. The system shall warn the user if the incorrect prescriptions were picked from the will call solution (i.e. Patient X is on the screen but Patient Y was pulled from will call)
