PAFB EXHIBITS A & B (CMAFS EXHIBITS F & G SAME METHOD) EXAMPLES
In the following Exhibit, estimated quantities are for Special Cleaning in accordance with (IAW) the PWS, paragraph 1.1.2.1. and General Cleaning IAW the PWS, paragraph 1.1.2.2. The following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) in Exhibit A & B have been broken down into component item numbers as shown. The breakout listing represents the work required under the CLINS 0001 and 0002 as shown. For each item number, provide a price breakout from the corresponding CLIN unit price value in the Pricing Schedule of the contract. The Total Quantity for each item is the quantity from Appendix 1 (PAFB) for each coresponding task. The Unit Price is completed by the contractor for each line item. The total yearly frequency is what is required for the overall SF for that task. The amount yearly is calculated by multiplying the total quantity by unit price by total yearly frequency. The monthly cost is the total yearly cost divided by 12 months. For CLIN 0001, the monthly/yearly costs for items 1-15, the monthly/yearly costs for items 16-30, and the monthly/yearly costs for items 31-45 will be added together. The summed yearly amount for items 1 -45 is transcripted to cooresponding CLIN (to the schedule above). For CLIN 0002, the monthly/yearly costs for items 1-5 will be added together and the total yearly cost must be equal to the corresponding CLIN(to the schedule above). Prices are inclusive of supplies, general and administrative, and profit. Modifications for a price increase or decrease shall be made when an existing facility’s square footage or frequency of cleaning service changes or when new facility is officially added to or removed from the contract. Square footage or frequency changes are identified in Appendix 1 and 1A. Exhibit Line Item Unit Prices, once awarded, will not change when modifications are made for square footage or frequency of cleaning service.

NOTE: This is a technical exhibit demonstrating how PAFB Exhibit A is calculated. The prices used in this example are not firm and are only used for demonstration purposes (rounding off for the yearly amount was used in this example).
Total Quantity: Each items total quantity is extracted from Appendix 1, Special Service tab under the respective items heading totals.
Unit price: This price is determined by the bid. The price will vary on each task, frequency, and situation.
Total Yearly Frequency: The total yearly frequency is what is required for the overall SF for that task.
Amount Yearly: The amount yearly is calculated by (Total Quantity X Unit Price X Total Yearly Frequency).
Amount Monthly: The amount monthly is calculated by (Total Amount Yearly divided by the Amount Monthly).
EXAMPLE #1
Item #1 Sweep Floors/Dust Mop/Damp Mop for the Fitness Center (560/570) Step 1: Total Quantity of 40,661 sf is taken from Draft Appendix 1, totals column for fitness center facilities.

Step 3: Total Yearly Frequency of 520 is taken from the Total Frequency For Total SF Column from Appendix 1. For example: Bldg 560 has the frequency from Appendix 1 as (5W, 2D) which is 5 times a week, twice daily.
5W * 52 weeks = 260
260 * 2D = 520 times a year for Bldg 560 (Bldg 570 is the same) The total for both facilities = 40,661 and is based on each facilities square footage
The frequency for both facilities is 520 (Total Yearly Frequency)

The same methodology will be used for items 003 through 045 (child development centers and youth center). Although each type of facility is priced separately, all three totals will be used for the CLIN. Add all totals up for all items and transcribe Amount Monthly and Yearly total over to the Proposal schedule for CLIN 0001 above under the Unit Price, multiplied by the Quantity, to give you the Annual Price.
NOTE: The same exact concept is used for PAFB Exhibit B; therefore, use the example from Exhibit A as a reference.
PAFB EXHIBIT C (EXAMPLE)
(CMAFS EXHIBIT H)
In the following Exhibit, estimated quantities are for ALA CARTE cleaning in accordance with the PWS, paragraph 1.1.2.2. It is possible that some, none, or all of these services could be requested throughout the term of the contract. These prices will be used as the basis for adding services under a task order for a requested period of time (one time, daily, monthly, quarterly, etc). Changes for these facilities are based on the amount of square footage for each item. Prices are inclusive of supplies, general and administrative, and profit. The unit price will be based on 1- 5,000 square feet, 5,001 to 50,000 square feet, 50,001 to 100,000 square feet, and 100,001or greater square feet for CLINs 0003 and 0008 plus all subsequent option years.
NOTE: This is a technical exhibit demonstrating how PAFB Exhibit C is calculated. The G&A, Supplies, and Profit are incorporated into these unit prices for PAFB Exhibit C. The prices used in this example are not firm and are only used for demonstration purposes. Only a portion of the items are used.
