NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION
AFTC/PZZ, 205 West D Ave, Eglin AFB, Florida 32542, intends to issue a follow-on sole-source contract to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Fort Worth, TX, for Engineering and Reach- Back Support Services. The Government anticipates awarding a Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract in the second quarter of FY19. The Government intends to award a base plus four option year contract.
The statutory authority utilized is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals, bids, or quotes and a Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a response in the form of a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which, if received by the response date of this notice, shall be considered by the agency. Submission of any of documents shall be at the contractor's expense. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
This is in support of the Air Force SEEK EAGLE Office (AFSEO) aircraft-store compatibility flight clearance and certification packages for F-35A aircraft. The proposed contractor developed the software and hardware for the F-35 aircraft. The Air Force has no development funding for this procurement.
The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the future acquisition is 541330, size standard $15M.
