About this file

This document contains vendor questions and answers related to the Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) issued by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), Suncoast Region, for a Community-Based Care Lead Agency contract in Circuit 13 (Hillsborough County). The ITN seeks proposals for foster care and related services, including child abuse prevention, adoptions, family preservation, and other child welfare services. The contract start date is January 1, 2022 with a 5-year term. Vendors are permitted to submit electronic proposals only, without hard copies. There are no page limits for response sections, and letters of support are not required. The budget should be broken out by contract year (July-June), with the first year's budget covering a 12-month period in the amount of $87,984,563.

The ITN provides details on the business types and services sought, as well as formatting requirements for the budget exhibits. While funding for years 2-5 is to be determined, vendors should develop budgets based on the first year's $87,984,563 allocation. This procurement will result in one or more contracts to provide the required child welfare services in Hillsborough County, Florida.
