SECTION I

1.0 DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS

1.1 General. Through world-class musical presentations and ceremonies, The U.S. Air Force

Band helps create bonds between the United States and the worldwide community. Using music to bridge language, cultural, societal and socio-economic differences, the Band's performances advance international relationships and inspire positive and long-lasting impressions of the U.S.

Air Force and the United States of America.

1.1.1 Scope. The vendor shall provide a concert hall for multiple performances, rehearsals, and recordings by The United States Air Force Band.

1.2 Background. The U.S. Air Force Band’s mission is to honor those who have served, inspire

American citizens to heightened patriotism and service, and positively connect with the global community on behalf of the U.S. Air Force and the United States of America. This specific contract requirement continues an ongoing, annual concert series connecting the U.S. Air Force

Band with the local community through live performances, and the global community via the production and distribution of audio and video recordings.

SECTION II

2.0 Description of Requirement

2.1 The vendor shall provide a single concert hall for all dates designated below within the

National Capital Region (District of Columbia, Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties in

Maryland and Arlington, Fairfax, Loudon, and Prince William counties in Virginia. Virginia cities in the NCR include Alexandria, Falls Church, and Fairfax).

2.2 Concert hall is required to have acoustical timbre complimentary to a Jazz ensemble.

2.3 The concert hall shall have an audience capacity of at least 900 and stage size of at least

2,500 square feet for multiple performances, rehearsals, and recordings by The United States Air

Force Band.

2.4 The Vendor shall provide a Concert Grand Piano. The piano shall be tuned the day of each performance, rehearsal, and recording.

2.5 The vendor shall provide front of house personnel.

2.6 The vendor shall provide back of house personnel.

2.7 The vendor shall provide custodial service.

2.8 The vendor shall provide security.

2.9 The vendor shall provide all necessary utilities, parts, materials, and equipment needed to execute this event.

2.10 The vendor shall provide three 4’x8’ risers on January 26th and 27th, February 23rd and 24th, and March 23rd and 24th.

2.11 The vendor shall provide performance lighting and stage dressing, including stage lights, follow spots, cyclorama, and stage blacks.

2.12 The vendor shall provide an on-stage screen and projection system for video display during the performance on April 28th.

2.13 The vendor will have on-site event parking available to patrons at no charge to the patrons.

SECTION III

DELIVERABLES

The Contractor shall provide deliverable(s) in a format mutually agreed upon by the Government and the Contractor.

The following enumerated deliverables are not expected to change. Due Date intervals are not expected to change but actual dates may need to be revised depending on actual contract start date.
