Item # Question Response
How is the contractor notified of the quantities to be delivered at each delivery? How will I know how many to bring?
The contractor should be prepared to replace the entire stock of linens previously provided the week before;
however, upon arrival, the contractor should count unsoiled linen, and only replace soiled linen. This is why quantity will vary per week. If more is required than the previous week, the government customer will notify the contractor of the additional quanity to bring.
Does a unit representative call with the required weekly delivery quantities or is it a direct exchange (trade 1 soiled for 1 clean)?
Please see the response to item 9.
Ultimately it will be direct exchange unless notified otherwise of an additional quanitity.
How many of each item should I keep on my delivery truck?
The government will not specify how many to keep in stock. The contract quote sheet specifies how many items will be used for the life of the contract. How or where you keep them is not of the government's concern.
Can you provide a historical weekly delivery or billing quantities for the last year?
The historical weekly delivery and billing quanities vary, but the average was 1500 for items 1 and 2, and 2 mats for item 3.
