About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) Log related to a federal contract opportunity for Underground Storage Tank Inspections at Scott Air Force Base for Fiscal Year 2024.

The RFI Log includes a single RFI received on July 29, 2024 requesting flexibility in the period of performance, as the contractor is interested in participating but has a current heavy workload that may not accommodate the quick turnaround required. The government responded on July 30, 2024, indicating a preference to stay as close as possible to the current period of performance due to an upcoming unannounced Federal EPA inspection, but could potentially be flexible within a week or two.

The related federal contract opportunity is Solicitation Number F3S3524130AQ01 for FY24 Underground Storage Tanks Maintenance/Inspection at Scott AFB, issued by the Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command.

129-Jul-2429-Jul-24I was wondering if there is any flexibility in the period of performance? We are eager to participate in this bid, but due to our current workload will not be able to accommodate such a quick turn around for a period of performance. If Scott AFB would be willing to work with us we would love to put a bid in! I’m curious to know if you guys are at all flexible on the period of performance or want us to stand tall on the current period of performance to stay within compliance/regulation for the tanks?Given that we need these inspections completed in preparation for an upcoming (and unannounced) Federal EPA inspection of our environmental program, I would prefer if we stay as close as possible to the current PoP. We can be a bit flexible within a week or two of the current PoP, but if the contractor can only participate if the PoP is in late September-October, then we cannot go that long.30-Jul-24
