The Contractor shall also rebuild/retrofit the following 3-axis SIP Jig Bore machine to original like new condition
Also section 2.2.15 talks about timelines for the control & retrofit.
Not sure if they would work based on standard delivery of components & the retrofit of the machine.
We will estimate in the quote basic component delivery & expected retrofit time.
Would that work?
Section 3.1 states you will supply some components.
The way I read this is these are the component we will receive that would allow us to build the kit, rebuild the spindle, order the hydraulic & coolant pump.
That would then be installed, the kit & components at your facility?
Answer 1:
1. It is a retrofit only with the spindle rebuild plus new hydraulic unit & Coolant pump.
Estimate in the quote the basic component delivery & the expected retrofit time.
Yes, these are the components that will be made available to you to allow you to build the kit, rebuild the spindle, order the hydraulic & coolant pump. However, the contractor will be responsible for the disassembly of such components as well as the shipping.
