About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) attachment for a federal solicitation (F3GHBA5104A001-1) concerning the removal and replacement of tire machines and alignment racks at Nellis Air Force Base. The Q&A provides clarification on key aspects of equipment removal, including disposal requirements and timing. Specifically, the government prefers the heavy-duty tire machine to be removed one week prior to delivery of the new equipment, while the alignment rack can be removed anytime after contract award. The government is seeking off-site disposal for the heavy-duty tire machine and alignment rack, with the light tire machine to be disposed of internally.
The Q&A includes visual documentation of the existing equipment, showing a red heavy-duty tire machine with a serial number GAE1206626 from 2012 and a four-post alignment rack manufactured by Grand Lift Systems. The images provide detailed views of the equipment to be removed, including close-up shots of identification labels and the equipment in its current location. The solicitation is structured as a Total Small Business Set-Aside with a firm fixed price contract type, targeting vendors in the NAICS code 333310 with a small business size standard of 1000 employees.
