About this file

This file is a detailed product specification sheet for the Wing P4.7 Combat Rubber Raiding Craft (CRRC), which appears to be an attachment to a federal solicitation for chartered vessels. The document provides comprehensive technical specifications for an inflatable military/law enforcement boat designed for rapid deployment missions including combat reconnaissance, search and seizure, boarding operations, and special forces insertion/extraction.

The P4.7 CRRC has key specifications including: 15'5" overall length, 6'6" beam width, 2760lb max payload, 10-person capacity, and 65hp maximum motor rating. The craft features polyurethane-coated polyester construction with thermo-welded seams, 5 air chambers, composite transom and floorboards, and a tapered V-hull design. Notable features include built-in lifting points, multiple heavy-duty carry handles, full-length rubstrake protection, and both roll-up and hard deck flooring options. The empty craft weighs 180lbs and can be folded to 27"x29"x56" for transport. The document emphasizes the boat's superior durability, rigidity and performance compared to competing materials and designs while maintaining dimensional compatibility with current in-service CRRCs.

#1 Polyurethane vs. Hypalon (CSM) - A polyester scrim coated with polyurethane not only gives the Wing CRRC superior tear, puncture and abrasion resistance compared to CSM and

PVC, the 1680 denier thread count adds stiffness as well. Consequently, an inflated Wing is more rigid yet lighter than boats made with lesser materials. A lighter, more rigid boat is faster, more maneuverable and a more efficient boat to run.

#2 Thermo-welded vs. glued seams - Thermo-welding bonds two pieces of coated fabric together as if they were one. Molecularly fused using heat (not adhesives as wit Hypalon), welded seams are far more reliable than glued seams. Expect a greatly extended service life and a much longer shelf life for boats in long-term storage with welded seams over glued seams.

#3 FRP Composite transom, floorboards and thrustboard vs. plywood/aluminum - FRP composite is nonabsorbent so it won’t rot or decay. It is lighter than wood or aluminum and has a superior strength to weight ratio.

# 4 Tapered Bow - Our tapered side tubes and squared-off bow creates 20% more usable hard deck space in the bow. On the outside, the squared-off bow directs water down into the V-hull assisting with lift and planing.

#5 V hull design vs. lower buoyancy tubes - With and without a load, the Wing CRRCs get up on a plane fast—faster than a LBT equipped competition. Eliminating these unnecessary LBT’s results in less weight, less draft, less drag, a reduced wake profile, and less stuff to go wrong.

The four inch dead rise from our MBT to the tunnel effect that assist in lift at higher spe

#6 Dimensionally the same as current in-service CRRC models - For all the increased performance the Wing CRRCs are identical bow to stern, and port beam to starboard, as the current in-service CRRCs. Our basic models weigh less as well, so it will easily match, fit, lift, install, launch, trailer, or stow for any mission.
