The procurement involves purchasing and installing one Kardex Control Panel (part number 10001335) with a $0.00 estimated contract cost. The justification indicates the current control panel is inoperable, and only Kardex components are compatible with their machines, necessitating a single-source procurement.
The solicitation is a small business set-aside under NAICS code 811310 with a $12.5 million size standard. The anticipated contract type is Firm Fixed Price, with a 60-day delivery timeline after receipt of order. Quotes are due on 25 June 2025 at 1000 PDT, to be submitted electronically to the contracting officer. The government will award to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offer that meets all solicitation requirements. Future market research will explore alternative manufacturers to reduce single-source dependencies while maintaining mission capabilities.
