About this file
This document is a Sole Source (Including Brand Name) Justification - Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items for a federal contract opportunity. The Department of the Air Force, 99th Contracting Squadron (99 CONS) Services Team at Nellis Air Force Base intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to Phillips Corporation Federal Division for 57 Maintenance Group Preventative Maintenance Service. The contract will include a base year and four option years for preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on HAAS and OMAX equipment. Phillips Corporation Federal Division is the only company that can perform the required repairs using certified technicians and provide a manufacturer's warranty on the work. Market research showed there are no other qualified vendors, and previous sole source contracts have been awarded to Phillips Corporation Federal Division. The government determined the anticipated cost will be fair and reasonable.
