MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD

SUBJECT: Bldg 1487 Chiller Visit-Questions and Answers

1. The following questions were submitted to the USG for the subject requirement. The USG hereby responds to questions as appropriate:

1. Is a temporary pump required for the rental or is the on site pump able to be used?

Existing building pump will be used in this configuration.

2. Are there any utilities underground between the parking lot that we parked in and where the chiller will be parked?

No utilities for them to be responsible for if damaged.

3. We were told to protect the grass and concrete that we have to drive on. We can put down mats to drive on and do the best we can to protect the concrete but if the concrete gets damaged ( cracks, breaks) moving the chiller in place who is responsible for that damage and repairs?

Contractor will take reasonable actions to protect concrete and grass as advised during site visit. Government will be responsible for cracks and breaks for sidewalks that occur after reasonable actions are taken to protect Government property.

4. Do we need a bid bond to bid any of these jobs on the base?

No bid bond required.
