Text version

This is a solicitation for an optical table plus isolator feet.

Looking for the equivalent or better to a Newport RS2000-4-10-12 optical table with non-magnetic top with S2000A-423.5 active leveling vibration isolator feet.

Table should be 4x10 feet with 1/4-20 threaded holes The holes should be on a 1” rectangular grid with holes to within 1/2" of table edge.

Combined height of table plus feet should be 34 to 36 inches.

Table should be flat to +/-0.004" over 2 square feet.

Table top should be non-magnetic stainless steel 3/16 inches thick or greater.

Table bottom should be non-magnetic steel 3/16 inches thick or greater.

Table should have hybrid tuned mass dampers in optical table to reduce the first four bending modes.

Table must have triple core trussed honeycomb core design (to maximize stiffness and flatness while minimizing deflection).

Table must have composite side panel construction (for greater sound and vibration damping performance) Table must have sealed holes to capture liquids or small solids that get spilled/dropped onto the table which can later be repaired without damaging the table.

Static deflection should be less than or equal to 6x10^(-7) inches per pound of force Lowest resonant frequency away from the rigid body line should be greater than 100 Hertz.

Vendor shall provide four isolator feet with the following specifications Each isolator foot should be able to support 2000 pounds.

aFeet should be separate and free standing and not linked by tie bars.

Should include an integrated, mechanical height adjustment system to allow improved table leveling, height control and compensation for non-level floors.

Isolator feet should have built in levelling indicators.

Isolator feet should have attachment mechanism to the table.

Isolator feet should have height adjustment capability to 1.3 inches Feet should be 90% efficient in frequency isolation at 4.5 Hertz and 99% efficient in frequency isolation at 21 Hertz with 2000 pound load.

Vertical frequency should be guaranteed at less than 1.1 Hertz Horizontal frequency should be guaranteed at less than 1.5 Hertz Isolator feet should have 1.5 second settling time.

Vendor should be able to provide technical support.

Vendor should be able to able to provide a lifetime warranty for the table.

Vendor should be able to provide minimum two year warranty for the isolator feet.

Vendor should be able to guarantee RMA in case of returns.
