About this file

This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). The agency is seeking to acquire CPI Inflatable Air Bladder collars systems and related parts for Brunswick Impact vessels, including warranty, for a 3-year term. The total estimated dollar amount is $250,000. FWC has determined that CPI is the sole source provider of this proprietary and patented technology that was designed specifically for the agency's fleet of Brunswick vessels.

The justification for the single source procurement is that CPI has the unique and patented individual air collar removable bladder system and related parts that are not available from any other vendor. CPI designed these systems using Brunswick's proprietary boat molds, tooling, and digital models, which allows them to provide the custom-built systems. FWC has an ongoing requirement for these vessel collar replacements and parts.
