About this file
This Statement of Objectives (SOO) details a furniture expansion project for Detachment 5 at Edwards Air Force Base in California, scheduled for September 2025. The project requires procuring and installing Teknion Leverage style workstations compatible with existing furniture in a controlled, classified area: specifically, four 6'x6' workstations with high walls and sliding doors, and six 4'x2' straight workstations with low walls, all in gray color. Key requirements include ensuring full compatibility with current furniture systems, coordinating with the original furniture supplier, and completing the installation without disrupting ongoing classified operations. Contractors must be escorted at all times and will be responsible for delivery, installation, trash removal, and retrofitting five workstations to fit the available space, with the government reviewing all submissions to verify compliance with secure area requirements and minimum specifications.
