About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for a chapel services contract opportunity at Edwards Air Force Base. The document addresses 15 questions covering staffing, requirements, and operational details for Protestant and Catholic religious services.

Key details revealed include: There are no current incumbents, though some previous subcontractors continue as volunteers. The Protestant Religious Education position is unfilled, while a volunteer supports the Protestant music position. No special certifications or licensing are required for the Religious Education Coordinator or Music Director positions. A GS Priest handles all sacramental duties. Services are held every Sunday with additional special worship and memorial services as needed. The chapel provides Bibles and administrative supplies through Appropriated Funds or Chapel Tithes and Offerings Fund. Musicians will have access to commercial networks and software (CCLI, PowerPoint, Pro-Presenter) but not government networks. The document references PWS/SOW paragraphs 1.4.0, 1.4.2.4, 1.5.0, and 1.5.2.5 for specific requirements regarding service units and emergent needs that must be factored into bid costs.
