ILIAD Product Suites Summary

ILIAD Core:

The ILIAD product suite is a full service toolset maintained by EMC. ILIAD is designed to give the engineer, data analyst, and technician the tools needed to manage information, program instrumentation, and analyze test data.

Generate and load instrumentation and Chapter 10 flight recorder systems program files for Teletronics, SCI, Zodiac and L-3 instrumentation systems.

Display real-time test data from computer based integrated turnkey Acroamatics, Teletronics, and Lumistar decommutation systems, as well as from IRIG 106 Chapter 10 recorder systems using Ethernet UDP transport.

Analyze/troubleshoot problems using IRIG 106 Chapter 10 tools and diagnostic displays.

Validate and process IRIG 106 Chapter 10 data using ILIAD’s Quick-Look feature.

Validate IRIG 106 Chapter 10 data format and compliance with the IRIG Standard.

View IRIG 106 Chapter 10 data using a Packet Viewer.

ILIAD’s primary goal is to support test engineers and technicians with automated tools for programming support, pre-flight data validation, and post-test analysis.

Increase T&E productivity for instrumentation development and operations.

Improve customer satisfaction through quality ILIAD hardware and software configuration control.

Obtain a quick return on investment due to low-cost of operations.

Provide support for integrating ILIAD with telemetry decommutation and recorder systems hardware, such as PC decommutation systems and Chapter 10 recording systems, to maximize overall ILIAD capabilities.

ILIAD Team provides onsite hands-on weapons testing support, trouble shooting, field engineering, test item diagnostics, format validation, ICD integration, OEM support and training.

ILIAD is expandable and extensible to meet new requirements as new Instrumentation cards, decommutation systems, recording systems, and functions become available.

ILIAD evolves to stay current with RCC IRIG standards.

Global Instrumentation Database Supports all flight test projects with one database.

Easy-To-Use Interface Explorer-like interface guides users in the right directions to get their work done.

Import/Export Import TMATS and JTDMS interchange files. Export TMATS interchange files.

Provides custom import and export capability.

Bus Message Catalog Define and Import MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, H009 and GPS Bus Catalogs.

Hardware Configuration Support and track multiple instrumentation hardware configurations.

Instrumentation Generation and Load Automatically generate unit load programs for Teletronics, Heim, Enertec, L-3 and SCI systems.

Software Configuration Track history of software configurations of airborne units and data reductions systems.

Real-Time Display Process RAW and EU data from Acroamatics, Teletronics, and Lumistar PCM systems, and Chapter 10 UDP.

Web Enabled Interface Allow remote users to access flight test projects and run jobs via Internet Explorer.

IRIG 106 CH4, CH8 & CH10 Display, Record and Process IRIG-106 Chapter 4, Chapter 8, and Chapter 10 Data.

Software Decom Process IRIG 106 Chapter 10 data (PCM, 1553, Analog, UART, ARINC 429, Video, Discrete, Ethernet) and MARS II without decom HW.

Post-flight / Quick Look Record and process data for post analysis.

Export to post analysis tools.

Designed For Expansion Designed to support airborne instrumentation and decom systems from multiple vendors.

QLS for Anywhere Access:

The Web based Quick Look System (WebQLS) for Microsoft Internet Explorer has been designed to enable submittal of jobs in batch processing for the conversion of digitized raw data into user specified raw samples or engineering units that can be output into any or all of several formats via Microsoft Internet Explorer - anytime, anywhere.

Raw test data and software can be hosted on a central Windows Server and unified storage system where users request EU processing and delivery via LAN or Internet connection.

WebQLS can be used with any test program that records in IRIG-106 Chapter 10 format, and additional data support may be processed in conjunction with the ILIAD product suite.

Data collected in real-time or in post-test from the data media can be processed in selected formats.

WebQLS provides the quickest way to review data to ensure test objectives are met.

This reduces test program costs and schedule risks, allowing more agile, responsive execution of test programs to ensure that sufficient, accurate data is collected.

WebQLS provides fast confirmation of the programs loaded into your instrumentation units, as well as near real-time confirmation of data collected on the test article.

For test programs, collecting the correct data means less risk of having to redo a test mission because of incorrect or inadequate data to meet test objectives.

WebQLS works with ILIAD to develop high confidence in the validity of instrumentation programs without extensive use of additional lab and ground test facilities.

WebQLS most powerful strength is in post test data reduction. This tool provides the engineer, analyst, or technician with data converted into any of the following formats:

o Report: Tabulated output format for immediate printing.

o CSV: Comma separated value format flat file, compatible with most analysis tools.

o Excel: Tab delimited separated variable format flat file, compatible with MS

Excel.

o MatLab: Variable array binary format, compatible with MatLab.

o X-File: External Data Representation (XDR) Binary format (for input to PVWave or other data processing / data analysis tools such as MatLab, DataProbe and others) o Video: Extract as ASF or MPEG format.

Utilizes the ILIAD Instrumentation Database which keeps parameter definitions consistent with aircraft instrumentation programming.

Provides an easy-to-use interface for creating Parameter Sets.

Allows import and export of Parameter Sets in CSV format.

Processes data from a variety of IRIG-106 Chapter 10 data types, including PCM, MIL- STD-1553, ARINC 429, Analog, Serial, Discrete and Video.

Operates using time-history calibration data for proper effectivity of calibrations.

Supports comprehensive set of Engineering Unit conversion methods and data types.

Schedules and runs multiple data requests simultaneously.

mViSiiON Multi-Channel Chapter 10 Video Player

The mVISiiON Chapter 10 video player allows users to view multiple channels of video data from an IRIG 106 Chapter 10 file.

The player includes features which allow the user to move to a time segment, play at different speeds and save preset window sizes and locations for each of the video displays.

The player can play from a file that is located anywhere on your local computer, network or directly from an IRIG 106 Chapter 10 Removable Memory Module (RMM).

Tested with IRIG 106 Chapter 10 Recorder data files from several different manufactures.

Synchronize up to 6 video channels from a single IRIG 106 Chapter 10 file.

All features can be used with a mouse. E.g. keyboard is not required.

Supports playback of MPEG2 and H.264 High Definition video formats.

Dub video from any video channel to an MPEG file.

Capture or print screen shot from any video channel.

Change playback speed from 1/100th to five (5) times actual.

Quickly position to any relative position or time in the recorded segment.

Easy-to-Use Interface All features can be used with a mouse.

E.g. keyboard is not required.

Playback Controls Move to any relative position or time segment, play at different speeds from 1/100th to five (5) times actual, and automatic repeat.
