About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details the disassembly, transport, and reassembly of an F-16C aircraft (Tail #87-0295) between Sheppard Air Force Base (AFB), TX and Holloman AFB, NM. The project requires a contractor with F-16 moving, disassembly, and reassembly experience to perform a four-day disassembly at Sheppard AFB, securely transport the aircraft components, and complete a four-day reassembly at Holloman AFB. Key requirements include maintaining the aircraft's power capability, properly handling and disposing of hazardous materials (JP-8 fuel, hydraulic fluid, and aircraft oil), and adhering to GSA travel per diem rates.
The project must be completed by 31 October 2025, with specific deliverables including successful disassembly, safe transport, and complete reassembly of the aircraft. Contractors must provide all necessary equipment, handle travel expenses, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Government employees will conduct pre-disassembly and post-reassembly inspections to verify aircraft condition and functionality. The contracting officer is Katrina Williams from 49CONS/PKA, with the project managed by Evan Ciemnoczolowski from 372TRS/DET 10, and additional points of contact from the 849AMXS/314AMU and Sheppard AFB.
