About this file
The document provides details on the Hingham Ferry (F1) Hingham - Rowes Wharf, Boston commuter ferry service operated by the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA). It includes the fares accepted, fare products, and the weekday schedule effective May 20, 2024, replacing the schedule dated July 1, 2022. The service operates year-round, with multiple departures from Hingham to Rowes Wharf, Boston and the return trips throughout the day.
The document is related to the MBTA's Request for Information (RFI) 102-24 for Commuter Ferry Service. The MBTA's current contracts to operate the Commuter Ferry routes and maintain the MBTA's vessels expire on June 30, 2025, and the MBTA is interested in learning about alternatives to fulfilling service requirements, including operation, maintenance, vessels, and docking.
