About this file
This is a purchase requisition document from the Florida Department of Health, Division of Disease Control, Bureau of Communicable Diseases, HIV/AIDS Section, for upgrades, modifications, enhancements, support services, and software license maintenance for the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) software system called Provide Enterprise (PE). The system tracks ADAP program client applications and manages pharmaceutical transactions with the Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) and Third-Party Liability (TPL) administrators. The requisition is for a single-source purchase from Groupware Technologies, LLC, authorized under Chapter 60A-1.045, Florida Administrative Code. The document establishes the framework for ongoing software support and system enhancements necessary to maintain the operational integrity of the ADAP program, which serves eligible individuals requiring pharmaceutical assistance.
The purchase represents a continuation of the existing relationship between the Florida Department of Health and Groupware Technologies as the incumbent vendor providing critical software infrastructure for the ADAP program. As a single-source procurement, no competitive bidding process is required. The funding for this purchase derives from the Department of Health's operational budget allocated to the ADAP program. The contract renewal and maintenance arrangement ensures uninterrupted service delivery for pharmacy benefits management and client tracking functions essential to the program's mission of providing pharmaceutical assistance to eligible individuals.
