This is a Notice of Intended Decision to Enter into a Single Source Contract (PUR 7778) issued by the Florida Department of Health, Division of Emergency Preparedness and Community Support, Bureau of Radiation Control. The Department seeks to purchase a Lynx-II Digital Signal Analyzer, a specialized device used for gamma radioisotopic analysis of environmental samples collected from areas surrounding Florida's nuclear power plants. The requestor, Benjamin Roberts, can be contacted at 850-245-4502 or Benjamin.Roberts@FLHealth.gov. The contract price is $19,898.95 for a single source purchase from Mirion Technologies (Canberra), Inc., the sole manufacturer and seller of the Lynx-II Digital Signal Analyzer.
