The document outlines a three-year contract to purchase Sirturo (Bedaquline) Antitubercular Medication from Cardinal Health 108 dba Metro Medical, with the procurement posted on 3/27/2025 and the last day for receipt of information set for 4/17/2025. The medication is specifically intended to treat multi-drug-resistant strains of tuberculosis and will be ordered in bulk using 340B pricing, prescribed by the State Tuberculosis Medical Director, and dispensed by the State Pharmacy.
The estimated dollar amount for this single-source acquisition is $300,000.00, with justification provided that Sirturo (Bedaquline) 100 MG tablets are the only medication used to treat very specific multi-drug-resistant tuberculosis strains, and Metro Medical is the only wholesale distributor of this medication. The procurement is being conducted in accordance with Chapter 60A-1.045 of the Florida Administrative Code, with prospective vendors invited to provide information about their ability to supply the described commodities or services. The document indicates that if no alternative sources are found after review, the agency will proceed with a single-source purchase contract with Cardinal Health 108 dba Metro Medical.
