About this file
This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) posted by the Florida Department of Health (Department) regarding the purchase of services to test, tone, label, and rewire (if needed) all Cat5e low voltage cabling at the Orange County Health Department (CHD) located at 832 W Central Blvd, Orlando, FL 32805, due to damage sustained from Hurricane Ian. The Department's Orange CHD, Office of Information Technology, is requesting authorization to purchase these services as a single source from Voxtell. The estimated dollar amount for the one-year contract is $46,800. The justification for the single source acquisition is that Voxtell's equipment and materials are compatible with the Department's existing network connectivity and equipment, and the Department has been utilizing Voxtell due to the poor performance and inability of previous vendors to complete the job as required.
The document states that prospective vendors are requested to provide information regarding their ability to supply the requested services. If it is determined that the services are available only from a single source, the Department will provide notice of its intended decision to enter a single-source purchase contract.
