This exhibit is part of the request for qualifications (RFQ) process for design professional services on this university project. The form requires proposers to indicate their intent regarding Section 179D deduction allocation, which allows government building owners to allocate potential tax deductions to designers who create technical specifications for energy efficient commercial building property. Proposers must select one of two options: either indicating their intention to negotiate and seek any Section 179D allocation derived from the project pursuant to an allocation agreement, or declaring that they do not intend to seek such allocation.

The owner reserves the right to retain a third-party consultant to manage and administer the process of allocating the deduction to the designer. As part of the proposal submission requirements, proposers must complete the form by providing their firm name, authorized signature, and date. This documentation is essential for establishing the baseline regarding tax incentive eligibility and the owner's intentions to potentially engage external administration for the deduction allocation process.
