About this file
This document is Exhibit E, a Schedule of Janitorial Services that outlines the specific cleaning and maintenance requirements for a federal facility.
The schedule establishes recurring and periodic service tasks with defined performance standards. Twice-weekly services include trash removal with 100% recycled liners, vacuuming with HEPA filtration equipment, hard surface cleaning via damp mop, high-touch surface disinfection using EPA-registered disinfectants with minimum 70% alcohol content, restroom disinfection with environmentally friendly antibacterial agents, miscellaneous cleaning of glass and furniture, and drinking fountain cleaning. Monthly services include dusting with damp chemical-treated cloths, clean glass surfaces inside and exterior (weather permitting, 38 degrees or above), washing trash receptacles, and de-scaling toilet bowls and urinals. Quarterly service includes cleaning HVAC intakes and diffusers. Carpet cleaning is required twice annually (April and October) using professional hot water extraction performed by IICRC Master Certified cleaners with truck-mounted units; water temperatures must not exceed 120°F. Additional annual services include cleaning light fixture globes and diffusers in October. Re-lamping of burned-out bulbs uses energy-efficient LED T8 lamps. All cleaning materials must emphasize environmentally friendly and recycled products, including 100% recycled toilet paper and paper towels where applicable.
