About this file
This document is Exhibit E, a Schedule of Janitorial Services that outlines the required cleaning and maintenance services for a federal facility.
The schedule specifies services performed on multiple frequencies: twice weekly services include trash removal, vacuuming, hard surface cleaning, high-touch surface disinfection, restroom disinfection, and miscellaneous cleaning. Monthly services include dusting, glass surface cleaning, trash receptacle washing, and toilet bowl/urinal de-scaling. Quarterly service includes cleaning HVAC intakes. Twice-yearly carpet cleaning using hot water extraction by IICRC-certified "Master Cleaner" professionals is required in April and October after normal working hours, with Scotch Gard treatment for high-traffic areas. Annual services include light fixture cleaning in October and re-lamping of burned-out bulbs using energy-efficient LED lamps as needed.
Standards require the use of 100% recycled trash liners, HEPA-filter vacuums, and environmentally friendly antibacterial disinfectants for restrooms. High-touch surfaces must be disinfected with alcohol solutions containing at least 70% alcohol or EPA-registered household disinfectants. Restroom paper products must be 100% recycled. Glass cleaning standards specify non-abrasive, non-solvent chemical cleaners with pH values between 3.0 and 11.0 for exterior windows, while interior windows with fragmentation film require only water and soap. Carpet cleaning water/steam temperatures must not exceed 120°F, and no pressure washing is permitted. All services must maintain high cleanliness standards with surfaces free from streaks, stains, dust, encrustation, and visible soil.
