About this file
This is Exhibit C of a Special Conditions document for an agricultural land lease contract with a state agency. The contract requires the contractor to manage multiple fields with specific agricultural and wildlife management obligations. Key service requirements include maintaining unharvested crops in each field annually for wildlife management purposes, with a minimum of 10% of crops (approximately 4 rows) left standing each year until February 16th of the following year. Additionally, fields designated as IDLE in the supporting exhibits may not be planted during their contract years, specifically applying to Fields 11, 12, and 13. The contractor must plant cover crops in fields that are farmed in consecutive years using corn and bean rotations as specified in Exhibit B.
The document includes a provision allowing bidders to submit an optional higher bid amount as a differentiator from competing bidders, with a designated line for the dollar amount or a zero if the bidder elects not to submit a premium bid. Contractors must acknowledge their agreement to these conditions by providing their printed name, date, and signature. Questions regarding the bid process should be directed to Savanna Vaughn at 260-367-2164.
