About this file

This document is an Exhibit C - Community Reinvestment Plan (CRP) template for the City of Pittsburgh, outlining requirements for applicants seeking to demonstrate their commitment to local economic development and community support. The CRP is a mandatory submission for the RFP process, requiring a detailed plan specific to Pittsburgh that addresses initiatives for low to moderate income residents and minority/women-owned businesses. The plan must be updated every three years and will be scored on a 0-5 scale, with failure to provide a tailored plan resulting in automatic ineligibility.

The template provides a comprehensive framework for organizations to detail their community engagement strategies across eight key areas: company overview, mission statement, economic development, small business lending, full-service banking, CRA-qualified home lending, philanthropy, and additional commitment details. Specific focus areas include CRA investments, lending to local businesses and non-profits, serving unbanked communities, home lending for single and multi-family properties, direct giving and grantmaking, sponsorships, technical assistance, workforce and board diversity, and supplier diversity. The document emphasizes a holistic approach to community reinvestment that goes beyond traditional banking services to demonstrate meaningful local economic impact.
